“Al Arabi” Acquires Copyright for Narek Malian’s Novel
Exactly 10 days after the presentation, the Egyptian publishing house "Al Arabi" acquired a copyright for Narek Malian's novel "Point Zero" for 7 years. Soon the book will be translated and published in Arabic. The events in the novel evolve in different plot lines.
The author has combined the events taking place in different countries, at different times, in different religious civilizations at one point - zero. In fact, there are several zero points in the novel, which unite around the main point.
The novel was born after the Paris terrorist attack of November 2015. It has become the subject of research and recollection that exactly 920 years before that, in Notre Dame Pope Urban II delivered his famous sermon, which became the beginning of the Crusades and changed the fate of all of Europe.
Narek Malian has tried to present the connection between Pope Urban's sermon and the Paris terrorist attack. The novel is about the worship of the earthly, the love between mortals worshiping different Gods, the human love killed as a result of worshiping God. The novel promises the reader a journey from 1095 to the present day. "Point Zero" is the second book by Narek Malian, Counselor to the Chief of Police.
